Hamburg (pps) - Mario Götze has already managed to establish himself as a key player at FC Bayern Munich in his first year. In addition the 21 year old offensive all rounder is one of the big hopes for the upcoming football World Cup in Brazil, where the German national team will be gunning for the title. Just in time for the run-in to the season and before the start of the World Cup Götze goes online with his new website and his own App! The same applies to both: you can’t get any closer!

Götze has worked on his new web presence with his management team at SportsTotal and the internet agency kaliber5 over the last few months. The end product is a modern website filled with pictures, but that also has classical navigation tools. The same thing applies to the App, that can be downloaded in the App Store and also at Google Play and is of course free of charge. You can visit the website by going to www.mario-goetze.com. The website and App have been set up completely in Responsive Design, this means that the layout will adapt to whatever appliance or screen that is being used.

The highlight of the website and the App is the unique picture platform that is updated by Götze on a daily basis. It does not matter whether these pictures are from the team bus, from training or from lunch, the enduser is right there and close to the day-to-day life of one of the biggest talents in world football! The matches of FC Bayern and the national team are also shown in edited versions and are documented on the picture platform. The ‚Götze Channel‘ tells stories with emotional pictures.

The completely up to date stories are not just shown via the picture platform, but also through a news stream. Here all Götze’s posts are bundled together from all the social media channels and are there to be viewed. So the user just has to call up the news stream and he has everything there at his/her disposal! And in addition the App has the following: if Götze publishes new content, then – providing the user has set the App accordingly – a push notification will be sent to him/her. The user can then determine whether or if he/she wants to receive whatever type of content update via push notification.

Apart from the picture platform and the news stream, the App and the website of course offer many further interesting facts about the sportsman and person Mario Götze that can be found via a classical navigation tool. For example Götze talks about his time at Borussia Dortmund, his most emotional international game and also about private matters that he has not spoken about yet in embedded video sequences. The website and the App are available in German and in English!

The concept for Mario Götze’s new website and the App were developed by the Cologne based player agency SportsTotal and the Hamburg based internet agency kaliber5, who also took over the programming. SportsTotal advises many other well known players, as for example the german internationals Toni Kroos, Marco Reus, Benedikt Höwedes, Sidney Sam and André Hahn apart from Götze. kaliber5 provides ideas and concepts for unique and bespoke communications solutions. The agency has specialised in digital services for TOP professional sportsmen and -women.
